Welcome to Tips From Doris!

The initial purpose of this new site is to help the novice to intermediate level Microsoft Office user. We are starting this site with MS Office version 2003. New information and tips will be added to the site daily, so check in often for answers to questions that you may have about those products. The tips that we have put on the site are from questions that have arisen from our clients. If you have topics that you wish us to cover, let us know.

As we grow, we will add Microsoft Vista operating system and Office 2007. We will also add other such as Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop and Macromedia Dreamweaver and Fireworks.

Tips From Doris is intended to be an easy-to-use reference site for individuals and as a secondary help site for corporations. Corporate help-desks can refer their associates to specific pages to cut down on call time.

Tips- This is the main portion of our site. Here you will find the tips and how-to instructions for applications that we cover as well as book reviews for training and business related books.  

News- The News section contains news from the world of technology, events in technology, business and training as well as interesting events in the southeast US; South Carolina in particular.

Links- We have interesting links pertaining to a variety of subjects. As we find noteworthy sites of all topics we will add them.

Articles- We are collecting articles written by those in the training profession and/or anyone with helpful business thoughts and ideas. If you have an article that you would like to submit, send it to us.

Our first newsletter, Microsoft Office Tips, was issued June 2, 2008. In it we include MS Office Quick Tips, latest news pertaining to the world of technology, and updates on what's new at TipsFromDoris.com.

We started a second newsletter, Tips For Trainers, on August 7, 2008 for those in the training profession. We include tips to promote learning, links to articles writted by training professionals, and updates on what's new at TipsFromDoris.com.
